The short version
PuzzleMosaic does not have user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal detail. Your game progress, best times and settings are stored in your own browser and never sent to us.
The site does use two third-party Google services — Analytics and AdSense — and both are switched off until you consent.
What is stored on your device
The games use your browser's local storage to remember things between visits. This never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
- Your best times and scores for each game and difficulty.
- Games in progress, so you can close the tab and come back.
- Your theme choice and per-game settings such as difficulty and board size.
- Your cookie consent choices.
Clearing your browser's site data for this domain removes all of it.
Google Analytics
If you consent to analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (property G-YH607WK63Z). It records which pages are visited, roughly where in the world visitors are, what kind of device they use, and which games are started. IP addresses are anonymised.
We use this only to understand which guides are useful and which games are played. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine this with any other data.
Google AdSense
Adverts keep the site free. If you consent to advertising, Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-8310608926044795) serves them and may set cookies to measure performance and, where permitted, personalise what you see.
Google's own handling of that data is described in its privacy policy and its advertising terms. You can adjust personalisation settings directly in your Google account at any time.
Consent, and changing your mind
Nothing loads before you choose. The consent banner appears on your first visit, and until you answer it, Google Consent Mode keeps advertising and analytics storage denied.
You can change your choices at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops further collection immediately.
Children
The site is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data held by Google as a result of Analytics or AdSense, requests should be directed to Google. You can also simply decline consent, which prevents collection in the first place.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date below will be updated and, where the change affects consent, the banner will reappear.
