Why there are adverts
The games and guides are free and there is no subscription tier. Advertising is what pays for hosting and for the time spent writing and maintaining the site.
How they are served
Adverts come from Google AdSense, publisher ID ca-pub-8310608926044795. Google selects what to show. We do not choose individual advertisers and we do not sell placements directly.
Ad slots reserve their space in the layout before anything loads, so the page does not jump around as adverts arrive. If you decline advertising consent, those reserved spaces simply stay empty.
Where they appear
- One unit near the top of a page, below the first heading.
- One unit within longer articles, between sections.
- One unit in the sidebar on game pages, beside the board rather than over it.
- One unit at the foot of index pages.
What we will not do
- No adverts that cover the board or interrupt a game in progress.
- No pop-ups, interstitials or full-screen takeovers.
- No auto-playing audio.
- No adverts disguised as game controls or as site content.
- No selling of your data — we do not collect any to sell.
Ad blockers
If you use one, the site works normally and we will not nag you about it. Consider it a preference, not a problem.
